hi guys! I'm an original-screening fan from way back who fancies bad guys, so I'd get seriously confused when Avon and Servalan were on screen together. Really! In actual life I'm merely silly.

I'm on a friend's PC and don't know the email, but had to comment cause I love B7, Dr Who, etc. This is a terrific website! I'm reliving all the episodes as I come across them--I started watching them and taped all of them in 1988, and remember several details. Yet I'm still reeling from the events of the last episode! Guess I really got into it. BTW, I did not (yet) find reference in the Sevencyclopaedia (?) about the Slave who saved Blake's life in "Redemption". Has that been noticed? Keep it up!!!!!

Blake 6 1/2
I am another Blake 7 fan whose memory will be cursed to my dying day with the flickering box of tricks, the dodgy transporters and still 1970's fashion disasters, but it still ROCKS !!!

. . . My name is Avon
Well, not really, obviously, although I have played Avon
(rather badly) in a radio production of my own making called
"Blake's 7: Phase II". Rather cheesy, don't you think?
I scripted and recorded it as a post Gauda-Prime story, that
was supposed to follow on from Tony Attwood's 'Afterlife'
novel. In actual fact, it was a piece of A-Level Media
Studies coursework, but as a complete amateur production, I
think it works reasonably well. If anyone would like a copy
of it (should you feel so inclined) then e-mail me with your
home address, and I'll send a copy. Feel free to e-mail me
back and comment on how good/crap (probably crap) you think
it it. I'm hoping to re-record it properly sometime, and
iron-out all the mistakes etc.
Anyway, pfftt to Servalan, and engage
hyperdrive!

1. Are you planning to publish a Justice novella, based on
the "Justice" stories that were featured in the "Gambit" issues?
2. For those who are interested, the BLAKE 7 tapes are now being
released by Columbia VideoHouse!
3. As for myself, I think I like Avon better; controllers like
Blake scare me somewhat.

Great work!! Does anyone have any info on an Australian chapter of any sort of Blake 7 society? especially the excellent offshoot 'Avon - The Paul Darrow Society'.
What's all this about Deliverance '98 etc, when are you going to hold it down here in Oz? I've got a pretty big place, we can hold it there. Let me know if anyone wants to come, we can discuss the jet pack conspiracy in detail, in fact that can be the theme for the gathering.
Lets get the ball rolling!!

I used to be a big Doctor Who fan, but now Blakes7 has taken it over.
I've only been a fan for at least two months,I was begining to think that
I was all on my own but now that I have discovered you're web site I have just realised
how big Blakes7 really is. Thanks for making being a fan of the best show in the galaxy more

Hello Judith,
Saw you on T.V the other night!
I have been working on a Blakes 7 RPG
(using the GURPS rules) for almost a year now!
I am grateful for the existance of your web-site and
others, as I would never have got as far as I did!
Looking through "your" Blakes7 encylopedia it seems
I *still* have some way to go until it's 100%!
It's basically just a "fan" effort, which I will willingly share
with all other B7 fans, when it's ready.
I will send you a draft of it ASAP, for your thoughts,
etc. I'm sure you will find a lot of errors
(as I did the first one from memory, which was amended
by data I found on the web).
ps: I've got an idea how the energy weapons from B7
*may* have worked (detailed in my rules).
I will e-mail you again in the very near future,
Regards,
Robert Moore

Thanks, Judith, for adding the essay pages to the site.
I'm sure that, short of subscribing to Altazine or the
mailing list (and I know, through reading the digest
archives, that some of the essays here come from those two
places) that you and the story writers' page seem to be
the only source of considered opinion on various aspects of
the programme. Long may your (and your husband's!) efforts
continue so that we may appreciate them.

I reached this address book doing a search for "Astinax." I cannot find any reference in the guestbook or in the Blake7 pages to him. Astinax rescued me several years ago from Chochek's prison. I was one of his "escorts". Astinax saved me from that icy, cellar world, but then Chochek's rage became unleashed at him. We fled and to protect me, he hid me in the pages of this novel that I have become the text to. I don't know what Astinax looks like anymore and I have no memories of the time before I became sentenced to the plot of the book. There was one dream that was so real, it woke me from my sleep and I wrote everything down. Nothing more. If anyone has a lead to Astinax's whereabouts, I would be grateful. I think it's a code name, so Chochek can't trace us. Cynthea Soames

Hi! I run the new Sci-Fi / Cult TV club 'StarBASE Vectis' inc 'Vectis Sea Devils LG', and as a group we're very supportive of 'Minority' Sci-Fi, Heck, the BBC don't know when they've got a good thing going!
We're looking for contributers to a new 'Who, Blake and Cult (the Prisoner, Avengers etc) fanzine 'Cosmic Hobo'. (no 'Trek please, there's too much overblown pious nonsense in StarBASE already)
Coming soon! National independent StarBASE British TV survey.
Was Trek sustained by 'Personality Cult', and has it ever been genuinely 'cool'?
Are the Teletubbys the Beeb's most successful foray into Sci-Fi?
