A brilliant scientist named Egrorian contacts the Scorpio crew to offer them a
weapon called a Tachyon Funnel in exchange for Orac. With little choice, Avon agrees but
uses a fake replica of Orac in the transaction. Avon and Vila travel down to the planet's
surface in shuttle.
