I have read your review of Hamlet, the Cromwell Production, and disagree about the quality of the acting, I found Lucy Cockram to have done a very good job of portraying Ophelia, one of the most difficult of Shakespeare's characters. I have seen Lucy Cockram performing in other Shakesperian adaptations and found her work to be superb, particularly as Viola and Sebastian in a touring production of Twelth Night which I was fortunate enough to see performed at Kenilworth Castle, in the County of Warwickshire, England in 1999. Might I suggest that you read the play before commenting upon the merits of the actors, it does help to understand that great wedges of Ophelia's part were left out which made the part event more difficult and this can only be down to the directing not the actress, and harsh words can surely ruin a budding career. Personally I found the quality of the acting to be generally good, however the quality of the video left a lot to be desired. P. S. I too am a Blakes Seven Fan. J. Has the planned movie been scraped? I hope US PBS stations or the US Sciffy Channel picks it up if it is produced. If it doesn't, I'll wait for the British video release, have it transfered, and placed in my current video library.

Fantastic website! I have been a fan of Blakes 7 since I discovered it as a teenager in 1986, and it was a major influence on my decision to pursue a career in the entertainment industry. Particularly the final episode, which convinced me that great drama could be done on television. I just about wet myself when I saw the models of Avon, Blake, and Travis that you are selling - I've been waiting for 14 years for somebody to make those! Keep up the great work! -Dave Busch, USA

Excellent site - really informative and fun! I have 50+ Avon Club magazines, and about 10 B7 fiction zines to go (moving interstate). If anyone is interested, I would like them to have a good home; just need to cover P&P really. Please email me if interested.

Thanks so much, brilliant site (dare I say better than Horizon? Certainly faster, anyway!) I have recently 'rediscovered' B7, my favourite show of all time as a kid 20 years ago. Thanks for feeding the addiction!

Maybe you should get Sarah Thompson/Pred/someone to review online fiction like they do the zines. There's suddenly getting to be vast tracts of stuff online and it'd be good to have some guidance.

Dear Judith: I was born in 1975. In 1981-82, TVE Televisión Española (In those dark days TV was a state monopoly and TVE the only broadcasting system in my country) transmitted B7: one of my earlier contacts with Sci-Fi series. B7 was a fascinating universe, but only survived a few months in air (TVE was -and today is- a nest of primitive minds only interested on soccer and bullfighting). I´m so happy since discovered your www page!. In those years B7 disappeared of the spanish public opinion, and is amazing to know the huge number of B7´s fans in UK,US and Pacific. In 1989 or 1991 (I could not remember the exact date) some local TVs programmed Dr.Who, with the same result (another cultual&cultural reference lost & forgotten). Interest in B7´s universe is in this land, unfortunately, a sort of hidden, dark science. P.S. In the 1981´s B7 broadcast in TVE, the character of Jenna Stannis appeared in the credits as "Jenna", but in some episodes we clearly listened rest of cast calling her "Jessa". The reason, in some people´s (and mine) thought, is that Jenna sounds identic as Spanish word "llena", equivalent to English "full", but used in colloquial chatting & popular talks with the meaning of "fat lady" (Not the case of S.Knyvette) Greetings from Madrid!

G'day from down under. A terrific site which has really taken me back. I remember first watching Blakes 7 back in 1979 when I was 11 years old. I was totally enchanted by the show and as a 31 year old I still am. It was a show that captured my imagination and interest. I would watch an episode or two each week and I never get tired of it. Your site has provided me with a lot of pleasure and it is people like you who keep the fans enthused and interested. Let's hope the movie gets off the ground, as long as it is in keeping with the original mood and flare of the original 4 series. Thanks again Judith and I hope you enjoy the feedback. Bring back Jackie Pearce or the movie is a flop! Michael.

The best B7 site I've found so far. I'm 17, and started watching repeats on BBC2. B7 is the best sci-fi series I've ever seen. Proof that special effects don't count for much with brilliant characters and plots. Sad to see the repeats stop. Having to buy all the episodes on video now. Keep up the good work!

Hello! I enjoyed visiting your site! I especially enjoyed the photos from the conventions. I was *really* surprised to find one of Ben Bass from Visions '96!! He's one of my personal heart throbs and I don't often find stuff on him outside of the Forever Knight fandom! And your information is correct, he was Javier Vachon in Forever Knight. Thank you for including this picture on your page. It was a very pleasant surprise!

Huggggggggs! This is a Fabulous site..watching "The Lexx" and old episodes of "Doctor Who" and "Red Dwarf" recently got me thinking of Blake's 7 again...and so I stumbled across your cool little site...It's wonderful, very informative, and its great that the B7 fandom torch is still alive and well today. One of the things I love about Blake's 7 is that it manages to be both high camp and dark and brooding, and I love the character dynamics...I just wish I had more of the series on video!

WoW!!! I am just watching Blake's 7 for the first time, after a good online friend was raving about it... I watched to see what the fuss was about, and got hooked!! I wanted more information and she directed me to your site. (I said she was a good friend...) I love the new look and I really like the information on Gareth Thomas, although now I am very upset because I probably will not see him perform live. Well, keep up the good work and keep us informed.. and THANK YOU for this site!
