This continues to be a terrific site, and I just want to add
a recommendation to all you new and born-again fen that you
consider all the fan fic Judith keeps in print. She's a
great editor.
And to the last lady who posted, no Avon *isn't* God, but
Blake thinks he is. :-)

Everyone may not know that Blakes Seven has just started Series Three, (having Shown the 1st 2), on UK GOLD Cable/ Satellite channel. Sunday Mornings, usually 10.05, sometimes 9.50. I was chuffed! An unexpected benefit of getting cable, and hence my renewed interest in B7, as the BBC deleted the Videos before I got very Many...

I was first exposed to B7 about 10 years ago, and I absolutely love it. Unfortunately, it hasn't been played here in Minneapolis in probably about 8 years, and I lived off zines for several years. I joyfully started collecting the videos when they were released, but now they're out of print and I only have 1-15 & 17. Does anyone know of a place in the US to get them?
Anyway, I'm glad to find so many other fans of the series. Looking forward to more info and contacts with fellow fanatics.

I fell in love with Blake's 7 when I was 5 years old. Now, I'm rediscovering what a brilliant series it was. Blake himself was before my time, and Avon and Vila were always my favourite characters. Thanks for creating such a great web site. It's nice to know I'm not the only one who remembers the programme.

Hi Judith, look who has entered cyberspace, God help you all.
Just visited your site for the first time, may I say I am very impressed, for an absolute die hard fan like myself, you indulge
my fantasy (obsession) to the max.
Many thanks for all this great information about my fav, show not to mention the lovely pics of Avon.
All your hard work is indeed appreciated by the multitudes. We just might not get around to telling you as often as we should, so on their behalf. Ta.
That's about it for this time, many more sites to visit, this internet thing it fun, I may even learn how to use it properly, eventually. Oh, by the way, thank you to both you and Pat
for making it a hell of a lot easier to gain access to both your own and other org. zines. Must go, but I have bookmarked this web site for frequent future visits.
Bye for now and please Take Kerr.

I first began watching Blake's Seven on WNYC public television while I lived in New Jersey in the 1980s. I was hooked immediately. It was so different from all of the "Trek" shows and films, with the Federation being the bad guys in "Blake." (This is more in line with the way all totalitarian governments operate on our planet, anyway.) My favorite character was Kerr Avon, in the person of Paul Darrow. To tell the truth, I always thought of Rog Blake as a kind of idiot, barging around with no clear idea of what he was doing, and considered Avon to be the brains of the outfit. That hasn't changed. Currently, I am viewing the saga on KTEH, San Jose public television. I am always glad to watch the series again and again, Like "The Prisoner" by Patrick McGoohan, there are still things about the Blake saga that I haven't figured out.

Very impressed with this site. I live in Darwin, NT Australia and am therefore isolated from most B7 fans in Australia let alone the fact that the series is no longer showing. Wouldn't it be cool if Austar (the local cable provider) decided to buy B7. THEN it'd be worth paying to watch TV!!! Cheers from an unredeemed (unredeemable) Avon fan.

Excellent site for an excellent, dearly-loved series. Haven't watched my videos of Blake's 7 in a while, but I do have them. Guess it's time to pull them out again! I was deeply saddened to hear of Terry Nation's passing. He was a great man and a great writer. Without him, I think that pretty much ends the possibility of Blake's 7 ever returning--but, of course, I could be wrong! And about that final episode: according to Terry Nation himself (several years ago in a TV interview), some of the characters DID survive (but, of course, he wouldn't name them!). My vote goes to Avon & Vila. I'm sure these two found a way off the planet, collected Orac en route, and are now cavorting about the galaxy in a new spacecraft, with a new crew, forever destined to give Servalan and the Federation many more headaches to come. Good for them! (P.S.: Pay NO attention whatsoever to Tony Attwood's "Afterlife" novel. It's RUBBISH!!!). See ya!

Nice to find a new Blake's 7 connection as all of the old ones
seem to have passed into the realm of legend (ie Michael
Macomber and Jean Graham). I look forward to this easy and
well-managed access to other Blake fans. Anyone have a home
for an old writer without a zine? I promise, 'Heart of Darkness'
really does make sense if you read the whole thing....

You know how hard it is to find ANYTHING relating to Blake's 7 online? I was a latecomer to the show (I started catching them in mid season four on rerun and was FLOORED at the last episode, utterly floored!!!) and I've loved it ever since. Even been converting my husband bit by bit. (Gee, I wonder who those two new characters in our Star Trek RPG, Kerr Nova and Vila Astinax, are based on...? ) Thanks for all the hard work! Just wish I could find some online zines or filks,,,I can't afford to send away to the UK for the real thing. :(

I have only just discovered B7 in the past year and around here its not hard to feel like I am the only one watching. (The 1 a.m. Sunday time slot surely doesn't help)
It is heartening to find that people still care enough about the show to maintain such a detailed resource so many years after the first broadcast.
